Great news from the Irish Camp is that our own Siobhan Fleming has been
selected on the panel of 22 to face Wales at the weekend. This is
another great honour for our club and a fantastic achievement for Siobhan who
has worked very hard on preparations for the upcoming Six Nations. We look forward to seeing the red jersey of Munster being replaced by the green of Ireland!

Tralee RFC under 17's clinched a clinical victory over Tipperary side Thurles at home in O'Dowd Park on Saturday 28th January and thereby earned a well deserved spot in the quarter finals of this tough Pan Munster under 17 rugby competition in two weeks time. Having drawn the last two matches against Sunday's Well and Thomond it was great to see the lads put an excellent performance under their belt and score four well worked tries as well. |

Early start for this visit. In
wet sticky conditions & a pitch that was just about playable Tralee got some badly needed practice against a strong
Crescent outfit. In one game our lads were very slow out of the blocks &
the opposition put 4 fast scores on us before we really got going. Despite an
intensive tackling programme on Saturday we still failed when it came to
bringing down the opposition first time. Nonetheless the players stuck at their
task & heads never went down.

Simply collect Lee Strand’s mascot Mighty Mikey Milk printed on any Lee Strand products and return these to the containers in the
clubhouse over the next few months.
This is a painless way of raising badly needed funds for our Underage
section while actively promoting healthy living.
We have a limited window of opportunity with January, February and March allocated to our club; we will have to end the collection
period on the 31st March. So why not start NOW –
collect the tokens, bring them along to the clubhouse and make money for YOUR club. And why not get your friends and neighbours to help you? |
