We have now received an itinerary and costing for the proposed trip to Biarritz for the U15 Rugby team (see below). The trip is dependent on a minimum of 15 players going so that we can play a game or games while away. The itinerary below has one confirmed game against the U15s of St. Jean de Luz. We are trying to schedule a second game on the Sunday, 11^th April. If, however, we cannot schedule a second game for the Sunday we will return on that day, only staying on till Monday 12^th if a match can be arranged.

We would also be hoping that a number of parents may be interested in going on the trip and that they would agree to assist in looking after the team while on tour. The cost of the tour is 450 euro

Should sufficient numbers be available for the trip we would hope to arrange a bag packing weekend in March to try and raise some money to purchase track suits for the team.

Fionnbar Walsh, who very kindly arranged the itinerary and sourced the game/s, needs to confirm the names of those going on the tour as soon as possible so that tickets can be booked. As such we would request that any player going on the trip brings a photocopy of their passport and a 100 euro deposit to training next Wednesday night March 3^rd. They should also bring a deposit and passport copy for any parents intending to travel.

Should sufficient numbers put down their names on Wednesday night, the tour will go ahead but any deposits will be non-refundable as flight will have been booked (I am told Ryanair don’t do refunds!!!!).
