| This season has provided a steep physical and mental challenge for this squad who are all aged under 14 operating in a higher division. Tenacity and a depth of spirit that belies their ages saw Tralee overcome Corca Dhuibhne by the narrowest of margins in a highly entertaining encounter out West. |

Tralee u-14’s played against
Muskerry on Saturday at home. Conditions were perfect and the game was played
in very good spirit. Tralee started well with
Aaron Fitzgerald captain for the day leading by example with some great carries
and good scrummaging. The visitors were
the first to score but Tralee responded well
with Cillian O’Riordan leading the charge.

The Tralee
U-14's travelled to Middleton on Saturday with only 17 players available for
the game. This allowed for several positional changes which showed how
versatile and talented this team is. Shane Foley started at inside centre and
as usual gave his all in attack and defence and reverted back to his more
familiar wing forward position in the 2nd half. John Dillane had a great 1st
game at scrum half, tackling and passing and linking very well with
his pack. Sam Boyle played his first full game at out-half and varied the play
very well with some clever kicks, strong tackling and good awareness.
