This season has provided a steep physical and mental challenge for this squad who are all aged under 14 operating in a higher division. Tenacity and a depth of spirit that belies their ages saw Tralee overcome Corca Dhuibhne by the narrowest of margins in a highly entertaining encounter out West.

Tralee u-14’s played against Muskerry on Saturday at home. Conditions were perfect and the game was played in very good spirit. Tralee started well with Aaron Fitzgerald captain for the day leading by example with some great carries and good scrummaging. The visitors were the first to score but Tralee responded well with Cillian O’Riordan leading the charge.

The Tralee U-14's travelled to Middleton on Saturday with only 17 players available for the game. This allowed for several positional changes which showed how versatile and talented this team is. Shane Foley started at inside centre and as usual gave his all in attack and defence and reverted back to his more familiar wing forward position in the 2nd half. John Dillane had a great 1st game at scrum half, tackling and passing and linking very well with his pack. Sam Boyle played his first full game at out-half and varied the play very well with some clever kicks, strong tackling and good awareness.

The Tralee u-14's travelled to Fermoy on Saturday and played against a very strong side made up of u14 and 15's. While the match was very one sided the Tralee team contested very well to the end. Ian Moynihan , Dylan Enright and Robert Dowd each played their hearts out in what was a very tough contest. Keelan Pierce passed very well at scrum half

The Tralee U-14’s travelled to Limerick to play Young Munster on Sunday.  A squad of 26 travelled and a tough match against the home team ensued. The Tralee side were put to the test early on with some hard hits going in from the home side.

The Tralee u-14's travelled to Cork Con for their first match of the season. A squad of 20 travelled and got off to a good start with a strong drive up the pitch by Aaron Fitzgerald and Giles Appelby. From the ruck Gerdi o'Shea carried and fed the ball to Rory Mac Namara who went in for his first of 3 tries.
